Terry Lee, age 59, of Fennimore died unexpectedly on Sun. Jan. 7, 2018 at Gundersen-Boscobel Area Hospital. Terry was born on March 15, 1958 in Viroqua, WI the son of Theron and Alfreda (Aspenson) Lee. He married Karen Walstead on May 21, 1983 and together they had three sons, Devan, Hayden and Gunner.
Terry graduated from Fennimore High School in 1976. He then worked at Advance Transformer in Boscobel, Sub-Zero in Fitchburg and Cummings in Mineral Point before retiring due to his health. He enjoyed watching the Packers and NASCAR, spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing and relaxing at the family cottage in Bagley. Terry was a fun and easygoing guy who cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Terry is survived by three sons and three grandchildren; Devan Lee (Crystal Zaring) of Fennimore and their son Dallas, Hayden (Vanessa) Lee of Mt. Horeb and their children Whitley and Raelyn, and Gunner (Amanda) Lee of Boscobel; mother Alfreda Lee of Fennimore and siblings; Rhonda (Jay) Dailey of Albany, WI, Debra (Jeff) Reed of Brooklyn, WI, Vicki Lee (Doug Bachelor) of Fennimore, Bob (Peggy) Lee of Steuben, Lori (Kim) Elmer of Clermont, FL, Tony Lee of Boscobel and Tom (Tracie) Lee of Fennimore.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Theron and nephew Tyler Lee.
A gathering to celebrate Terry’s life will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Thursday evening Jan. 11, 2018 at the Fennimore American Legion Hall. Burial of the cremains will be held at a late date in the Utica Cemetery in Utica Township, rural Mt. Sterling, WI. The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore is assisting the family.
