Steven A. Bryhan

Steven BryhanLancaster – Steven A. Bryhan, age 54 of Lancaster died on Sunday morning Sept 14, 2014 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. Steven was born on Feb. 9, 1960 in Lancaster the son of Richard and Irene (Eastman) Bryhan.

Following graduation from Lancaster High School, Steve earned a degree in Auto Body Repair from Southwest Tech. He worked at Lancaster Auto Body from the age of sixteen until recently retiring after being diagnosed with cancer in April 2014. Painting cars and motorcycles was Steve’s specialty and his level of perfection was impossible to match.  Steve was also very skilled at building and repairing radiators, and had a passion for building custom motorcycles.  He was the person many people looked to when in need of parts and advice, as his knowledge of motorcycles was extraordinary. Steve’s greatest joy however, was spending time with his family and grandchildren.  His quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and willingness to help others will forever be cherished.

Steve is survived by his daughter Cassandra (Todd) Fairbank of Beaver Dam, step-children; Jake Blum of Star Prairie, WI and Amber (Steve) Poppvich of Osceola, WI, grandchildren Elijah and Sevanna Fairbank, parents Richard and Irene Bryhan of Lancaster, siblings; Jim (Geri) Bryhan of Lancaster, John (Rosemary) Collins of Fennimore, Ron (Gloria) Bryhan of Shirley, NY, and many special nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Percy and Olive Eastman, paternal grandparents Arthur and Genalda Bryhan, and a nephew Jason Collins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday Sept. 20, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster with burial to follow in the Hillside Cemetery.  A luncheon will be served at the church following burial. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday evening Sept. 19, 2014 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Steven A. Bryhan.
