She was united in marriage to Harry Edge on September 21, 1947. Avis and Harry enjoyed playing cards and dancing with their friends. Laurel was born on July 25, 1921 in Clayton Township Crawford County, WI the son of Fred and Bessie (Huffman) Mook. He was united in marriage to Nelda Stimpson on Jan. 3, 1947. Laurel graduated from Gays Mills High School in 1939 where he excelled in baseball, track and basketball. Carrie was born in Round Lake, IL, the youngest daughter of August “Jack” Corcilius and Nancy (Oehme) Corcilius and spent many years in Arizona where she worked as a nursing assistant and gave birth to her daughters before returning to the Midwest to be nearer to family.
