Camynn was born on Dec. 27, 2015 in Lancaster, WI the son of Matthew and Courtney (Jerrett) Bruegmann. Fennimore – Cleo B. Reithmeyer, age 94, of Fennimore, died on Thursday morning Oct. 6, 2016 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. Cleo was born on April 2, 1922 in Mt. Zion, WI, the daughter of Jacob and Mable (Sabins) Trumm. She married Mark “Ike” McCluskey in 1939. Ike preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1974 and Cleo was later married to Zeno Reithmeyer in 1978 until his death on Feb. 10, 2000. Cleo began her working career as a telephone operator in Mt. Zion. Karen A. Duffey, age 74, of Fennimore, passed away peacefully Monday October 3rd in the company of family.  Karen was born August 21, 1942 in Muscoda the daughter of John and Mary (Gardner) Duffey. She found her passion through knowledge and reading. Upon graduation from Muscoda High School, she earned her degree in English from what was then Wisconsin State University – Platteville followed by a Master’s in History from the University of New Hampshire. For the years following, she taught both English and History at the middle school level, retiring in 1998 from the Madison Metropolitan School District.  She …

Fennimore, WI-Clifford G. Jahnke, age 84, died on Monday morning Oct. 3, 2016, at his residence in Fennimore. Clifford was born on July 26, 1932 in Lancaster, WI the son of Milan and Velma (Wenzel) Jahnke. He married Ruby Braudt on August 12, 1956 at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. Clifford raised beef cattle outside of Fennimore for 25 years in addition to working for Rockwool Insulation in Lancaster. He and Ruby moved into Fennimore in 1981 and built their current home in 2002. Clifford was as a custodian at Fennimore Schools for 10 years, retiring in 1995. He …

Leila was born on July 11, 1935 in Beetown, WI the daughter of Vernon and Alta (Bishell) Laufenberg. She was united in marriage to Robert Schmitz on Feb. 6, 1952 in Lancaster. Following graduation from Lancaster High School in 1952, Leila and Robert worked hard farming in Beetown Township and raised their family of 10 children. Leonard “Len” Joseph Mulrooney Jr, age 87, of Mount Hope passed away on September 16, 2016 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. He was born May 8, 1929 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the son of Leonard and Mary Ruth (Rooney) Mulrooney. Len graduated Fennimore High School class of 1947.
