Montfort, WI-Bernadine L. Olson, age 80, died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of July 18th, 2017. She was born at home in Clyde on October 24th, 1936 to Laura (Kreul) and William Bomkamp. After she graduated from Avoca high school in 1954 she was a nursing assistant in Madison. On January 12th, 1956 she married Dean Gerald Olson. They raised eight children while farming in Rural Dodgeville. Naomia was born on May 31, 1931 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Everett and Marie (LaRue) Wagner. She married Paul Zimmerman on Feb. 17, 1950 in Bennett, IA. Arno was born on Sept. 15, 1934 in Lancaster the son of Oscar and Gladys (Iverson) Brendemuehl. Arno graduated from Fennimore High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving his country for 20 years.
