Melissa L. Fry

Missy FryFennimore – Melissa Lynn Fry, age 40, of Fennimore, went home to be with her lord on Monday, August 24, 2015 surrounded by her devoted and loving husband Matt, mom Mary, and family. Despite putting up a courageous battle, she lost the fight to heart disease. Melissa was born on March 28, 1975 in Prairie du Chien, WI the daughter of Terry and Mary (Gotto) Breuer. She married Matthew Fry on Nov. 6, 1999 in Fennimore.

Missy was a free spirit who was loved by her friends and co-workers. She has worked at Great Lakes Educational Loan Services in Boscobel for the past 15 years. Missy was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Matt whom she cherished and loved so much. He was her world and she was his. She also loved the Brewers and her Hilltop dart team Kathy, Karen and Cheryl.

Missy is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Matt, her “kids” puppies Freddy and Pebbles, mother Mary Wilson, brothers; Michael (Carrie) Gotto, and David Gotto, special sister Cindy (Damion) Plymesser, father-in-law LaVerne Fry, brother-in-law LaVern “Verno” Fry, sister-in-law Sandy Fry and special nieces and nephews who she loved so very much; Michaela, Ashley, Haley, Kevin, Tessa, Mercedee, Chris, Alex, Amelia, Olivia, Isabelle, and Austin.

Missy was preceded in death by her father Terry Breuer, brother Christopher Breuer, maternal grandparents Francis and Naomi Gotto, paternal grandparents Chris and Patty Breuer, aunts Sandra Cull and Nancy Scott, and uncle Stanley DuCharme. Missy was loved and liked by everyone she met and will be missed by many. Just remember the good times and her quick quotes to all.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery. Pastor Lincoln Fry will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 -8:00 P.M. on Friday evening August 28, 2015 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning.
