Mary Mueller 2Montfort, WI-Mary C. Mueller, age 92 died on Saturday June 28, 2014 in Dodgeville, WI. Mary was born on Oct. 10, 1921 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Paul & Helen (Magiera) Pasek. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Mueller on Oct. 5, 1946.

Mary & Robert resided in Chicago, IL until his retirement and moved to Montfort in the late 1970’s. Mary loved living in the country, which reminded her of her childhood and her Polish heritage. She was a dedicated wife and adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary loved spending time with her family and enjoyed lending a helping hand throughout their years. Mary was a wonderful cook and baker and liked to share all of her Polish dishes with her family. Her dedication to her Lord and family will forever be cherished. Mary was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 3rd Order of St. Francis, and the St. Anne’s Sodality.

Mary is survived by her two children; Helen Klaas of Livingston and David Mueller of Montfort, six grandchildren; Paul Klaas of Mt. Horeb, Jonathan  & Laura Klaas of Madison, Theresa (Jed) Wachter of West Salem, Rachel & Andrew Klaas of Dodgeville, Ann Marie & Rob Klaas of Mineral Point, and Matthew Klaas of Mt. Horeb, along with three great grandchildren Dominic, Noah, and Ella Wachter.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert on March 17, 1990, son-in-law Donald Klaas on Dec. 6, 2008, an infant daughter Helen M. Mueller, four sisters; Pauline Turek, Jessie Kudobeck, Helen Schonecker, and Betty Czarnecki.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday July 3, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon July 2, 2014 at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort where a Parish Rosary will be said at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening. A visitation will also be held from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. on Thursday morning at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort.
