Lancaster, WI-Barbara J. Busher, age 86, died on Friday morning June 5, 2015 at her residence in Lancaster. Barbara was born on Oc.t 19, 1928 in Fennimore the daughter of Joseph & Velma (Pollman) Brechler. She was united in marriage to Lenneth Busher on May 17, 1951 in Lancaster.
Barbara was employed at the Lancaster Care Center as a CNA along with in home babysitting and later home healthcare. She had a wonderful heart and loved taking care of people. She enjoyed taking bus trips, spending time with her family, and listening to the music of Lyle Foley. Barbara was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and the Catholic Church Women, and a past Girl Scout leader. Barbara’s great sense of humor, her quick wit, and mischievous smile will be deeply missed.
Barbara is survived by her three children; Don (Fiancé Barb Johnson) Busher of Watertown, Dave (Mary Pat) Busher of Mt. Horeb, Charlene Busher of Lancaster, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers; Delbert (Gloria) Brechler of Kingman, AZ, Fred (Jill) Brechler of Fennimore, several nieces and nephews along with her beloved cat; Dora.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lenneth, granddaughter Laura Busher, two sisters; Ima (Ralph) Levrud, Janet (Don) Hertrampf, brother DuWayne (Rose) Brechler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Thursday June 11, 2015 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Thursday morning. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later date in St. Clement Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Barbara J. Busher. The Larson Family Funeral Home of Fennimore is assisting the family.
