Evelyn R. Calvert, age 85, died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her residence in Fennimore. Evelyn was born on Feb. 28, 1932 in Woodman, WI the daughter of James and Clara (Weir) Elliott. She married Robert Calvert on Oct. 24, 1953 in Boscobel. Evelyn graduated from Boscobel High School with the class of 1950. She was employed at Rayovac in Fennimore from the early 1970’s until retiring in 1994. Robert “Bob” G. Mueller, age 89, died on Thursday morning Sept. 28, 2017, at his residence in rural Livingston surrounded by his family. He was born on June 16, 1928, in Platteville the son of John and Lillie (Schuster) Mueller. He was united in marriage to Mary Knutson on Feb. 10, 1951, at the Livingston United Methodist Church. Patrick (Pat) Keyes, age 77, of Verona, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Pat was born on March 24, 1940 to Bill and Velma (Levake) Keyes. Patrick married Corrine Esser of Highland and together had five children: Kevin (Julie) of Verona, Dan (Kelly) of Verona, Kathy (Steve) Kalscheur of Cross Plains, Kelly of Verona and Kim of Madison. Gary R. Kroll, age 64, of Arlington, died on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by family and loved ones. Gary was born on Dec. 5, 1952, in Dodgeville, WI the son of Cletus and Betty (Nechvatal) Kroll. Gary graduated from Fennimore High School with the class of 1971. He received a degree in Ag Mechanics from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore. He purchased the family farm south of Preston from his parents in 1982 and farmed until selling in 1996.
