On the morning of August 24, 2017, Leora “Lonnie” Mae Kolar completed her journey on earth and passed peacefully into the loving hands of her Lord and Savior. She was 89 years of age. Born April 13, 1928 in Fennimore, Wisconsin, Lonnie was the daughter of Monica M. and J. Leonard Fry. Lonnie grew up on the Green River Road family farm, Fennimore, along with her sisters, Betty and Dorothy. The farm still stands and in the past years she was able to return to the homestead sharing childhood memories with her children and the current owner, a distant Fry relation. …

Robert W. Belscamper

Robert William Belscamper, age 87, of Fennimore, died on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. Robert was born on Jan. 13, 1930 in Mt. Hope, WI the son of Allen and Doris (Merry) Belscamper. Bob lived in Mt. Hope Township until 1943 when he moved with his parents to North Lancaster Township, where he farmed with them until after his marriage. On May 3, 1950, Bob married Virginia Burton at the Lancaster United Methodist Church. Bob and Virginia farmed together until they retired and moved to Fennimore in 1980. Mt. Hope/ Fennimore – Alice Mary (Waterman) Keeney passed away on Wednesday evening, August 16, 2017, at the age of 100. She was born in her Grandma Annie (Biddick) Peat’s old rock house 4_1/2 miles southwest of Livingston in Clifton Township, Grant County, WI on April 15, 1917. Her father was Henry Hugh Waterman and her mother was Florence Adele (Peat) Waterman. Alice attended the West Crow Branch rural school near Livingston and graduated as salutatorian of her high school class in Fennimore, WI in 1934. Roger G. Fuller

Roger G. Fuller, age 63, of Lancaster, died on Sunday morning August 13, 2017 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Roger was born on Jan. 6, 1954 in Lancaster the son of Glenn and Alice (Wieland) Fuller. He married Gloria Dickson on Dec. 28, 1995 at the First Baptist Church in Orlando, FL. Roger attended Lancaster High School and then worked as a mechanic and operated the wrecker at Pioneer Motors in Lancaster for 17 years.
