Harold J. Pink, age 90, of Fennimore, died on Sunday evening March 19, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Harold was born on March 12, 1927 in Lancaster, WI the son of Edward and Florence (Bazinet) Pink. He married Marilyn Edwards on Nov. 12, 1949 in Lancaster. Following graduation from Lancaster High School in 1944, Harold farmed until being drafted into the U.S. Army in Jan. of 1952. Harold proudly served his county until being honorably discharged in Dec. 1953. Darrell L. “Mayor” Jeidy, age 83, of Mt. Ida, died on Thursday evening March 16, 2017 at his residence in Mt. Ida. Darrell was born on April 4, 1933 in Mt. Hope, WI the son of Adolph and Coral (Hore) Jeidy. He married Betty Grimesey on Sept. 11, 1952 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. After graduating from Mt. Hope High School, Darrell farmed and worked for Croft’s. Mayor Began working for John Deere in Dubuque in 1960 and retired after 30 years of service in 1990. Karen Faye (Witzig) Novinski of Minong, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Monday, March 13, 2017, at Rochester Mayo Methodist Hospital with loved ones by her side. Karen was born on October 8, 1942 at a birthing house in Fennimore, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Virginia (Huffman) Witzig. On August 2, 1986 Karen married Gerald “Huck” Novinski and settled in Barron, Wisconsin. Karen’s legacy will be the fond memories she created with her family, friends, co-workers, and students. Audrey I. Simonsmeier

Fennimore, WI-Audrey I. Simonsmeier, age 89, passed away peacefully in her daughter’s home on Thursday morning March 2, 2017 with her family at her side. Audrey was born on June 27, 1927 in Greenbush in Sheboygan Co. WI the daughter of Francis Sr. & Alice (Prindle) Bonnett. Audrey’s legacy will remain one of patience, kindness, and astounding unconditional love for others. She was an artistic painter by trade, composing artwork of Native American heritage and prophetic scenery.
