William H. Campbell, age 100, of Livingston passed away on Tuesday morning Jan. 29, 2013 at Bloomfield Manor in rural Dodgeville.  William was born on March 14, 1912 in Lima Township, Grant Co., WI the son of William and Mabel (Bidgood) Campbell. He married Lois Medley on July 22, 1933 in Galena, IL.  After returning from a short course at UW-Madison, Bill made cheese from 1933-1938.  He then was engaged in farming with his father-in-law in Lima Township from 1938-1943 before farming outside of Livingston from 1943-1950.  In 1950, Bill purchased a farm in the Mifflin area where he continued …

Kenneth R. Goodman, age 56, of Fennimore passed away on Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 at UW-Hospital in Madison.  Ken was born on March 12, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the son of Edgar and Myrtle (Estes) Goodman.  He married Susan Napp on Oct. 5, 1985. Ken grew up in New Mexico where he drove truck for a living. He moved to the Fennimore area in 1993 and continued driving truck for Sunkiss’d Trucking until having to retire due to his declining health. Ken was a very hard worker and took great pride in having the cleanest truck in the fleet. …

Judith “Judy” Fay Gilbertson, age 59, of Fennimore, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at AgraceHospice in Madison surrounded by her family and many friends. Judy, daughter of Frank and Marilyn (Leja) Lis, was born May 5, 1953, in Stanley, WI. She was raised in Gilman, WI and graduated from Gilman High School before moving to Boscobel. Fennimore, WI – Donald K. Schwer, age 82 of Fennimore passed away on Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.  Donald was born on May 8, 1930 in Fennimore Township the son on William and Orilla (Smith) Schwer. Donald graduated from Fennimore High School and married the love of his life, Mary Loy on Feb 14, 1949. They farmed his family farm in Fennimore Township until purchasing it in 1961 and continued farming until 1992. Fennimore – Lela M. Wood, age 89 of Fennimore died on Friday Jan. 18, 2013 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society.  Lela was born on March 25, 1923 in Mt. Hope, WI the daughter of Harley and Myrtle (Ferguson) Welsh.  She married Arden Wood on March 9, 1945 in Altus, Oklahoma. Lela was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life caring for her family with everlasting love and compassion.
