Fennimore, WI-Barbara L. Howell, age 97, of Fennimore, died on Thursday Sept. 27, 2012 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. She was born on Oct. 17, 1914 in Little Grant Twsp. Grant Co, WI the daughter of Floyd & Martha (Angelette) Budd. Barbara was united in marriage to Albert “Bert” Howell on July 30, 1934 in Galena, IL. Barbara attended Fennimore High School and then worked at Burgess Battery Factory in Platteville until being employed at Parker Pen in Fennimore. Frank C. Edge, age 89, of Fennimore and formerly of Mt. Ida passed away on Wednesday Sept. 19, 2012 at Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel, WI. Frank was born on Dec. 22, 1922 in Mt. Ida Township, Grant Co., WI the son of Joe and Effie (Waldorf) Edge.  He was united in marriage to Shirley Pierce on Nov. 18, 1945 in Lancaster, WI. Theron A. “Doc” Haufler, age 80, of Montfort passed away peacefully at home with family on Tuesday morning Sept. 18th, 2012. He was born Feb. 16, 1932 to Elmer and Matilda (Rankin) Haufler in Vassar, Kansas. Theron married Rose Anne Trendel Aug. 15, 1951.  After graduation from Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, Theron and Rose Anne moved to Fennimore, WI. There he began his Vet practice, later building the Fennimore Veterinary Clinic on Lincoln Avenue in Fennimore.  The couple purchased a farm near Montfort in 1966.  Theron continued his Vet work along with farming …
